Sanctuary for animals in need is such a beautiful thing. I am so grateful to be able to do this work. Rescuing Cale over a decade ago changed my life. He was my very first orphaned bottle baby (along with his sister, Iliamna). He has only known peace, love and proper care since 2014. 💜

Summit was rescued from slaughter. Robert Redford was rescued from slaughter and came all the way to NJ from TX. Bud needed a soft place to land after his previous human could not care for him anymore. Reed was also rescued from slaughter after she was tossed aside when she started to go blind.

Moose was rescued from slaughter by a human who ended up failing him later. Simon was rescued from slaughter when he was just 6 months old. I am just so grateful that they both ended up with us because they are thriving now.

Gregory has finally been introduced to the mini herd. After living alone for so long, he finally has friends. He finally has a family. When Gregory was chained up, before his rescue, he would escape all of the time — in search of companionship.

We are working 14 hour days to keep all of the rescued animals warm and safe. So much going on in the world and I feel like, on top of the farm chores and constant work in the bitter temperatures, these outside stresses also weigh on us. I thought we could all spend 22 seconds with Wimpy together.
