Sanctuary for animals in need is such a beautiful thing. I am so grateful to be able to do this work. Rescuing Cale over a decade ago changed my life. He was my very first orphaned bottle baby (along with his sister, Iliamna). He has only known peace, love and proper care since 2014. 💜

Please boycott the Kentucky Derby. Horse racing is a cruel industry that is based in greed and the exploitation of animals. We have numerous horses here at our sanctuary who were rescued after they were discarded once they couldn’t race anymore due to growing older or getting injured.

Summit was rescued from slaughter. Robert Redford was rescued from slaughter and came all the way to NJ from TX. Bud needed a soft place to land after his previous human could not care for him anymore. Reed was also rescued from slaughter after she was tossed aside when she started to go blind.

Here is a short list of the things she would have missed out on if we didn’t give her a chance: a deep bond with her best friend (Kitchi), many bags of beet treats, sun bathing, playing in the snow and grazing on fresh spring grass. #animalrescue #farmsanctuary #horses #animallovers

I snapped this photo of Wimpy yesterday. He found the only sun spot in his stall and just stood there — soaking up the warmth. His adorable little face painted with a tiny burst of satisfaction.

Moose was rescued from slaughter by a human who ended up failing him later. Simon was rescued from slaughter when he was just 6 months old. I am just so grateful that they both ended up with us because they are thriving now.

Gregory has finally been introduced to the mini herd. After living alone for so long, he finally has friends. He finally has a family. When Gregory was chained up, before his rescue, he would escape all of the time — in search of companionship.

When I thoroughly go over Tommy’s journey in my head, I get very emotional. To be saved from slaughter, only to find himself in a neglect situation … deplorable and heartbreaking. He is here now, in sanctuary. He will NEVER have to worry again. 😭♥️ #animalrescue #farmsanctuary #horses #rescued

We are working 14 hour days to keep all of the rescued animals warm and safe. So much going on in the world and I feel like, on top of the farm chores and constant work in the bitter temperatures, these outside stresses also weigh on us. I thought we could all spend 22 seconds with Wimpy together.

DEEP FREEZE!!!! Keeping the rescued animals safe and happy in these elements sucks the life out of us. It’s grueling. But .. we push forward. For them. They deserve it. 🥶🥶🥶🥶

No matter who is in leadership roles in this country, I will always fight for the animals. The wild horses need our help — as there is a section in Project 2025 that lays out a plan to EUTHANIZE THEM ALL. Call your representatives. Prepare them for this cruel potential outcome. Fight against it.

Trump has signed executive orders coinciding with Project 2025, even though he knew nothing about it. I am here to fight for the animals. The wild horses are in grave danger due to this new administration. This is directly from the pages of Project 2025. The horses are facing extermination!

Hermione was dropped off in our driveway with life threatening injuries. Her previous humans were going to euthanize her due to not wanting to put money into sending her to the hospital. She is living her best life now — here at Rancho Relaxo. 💜
