I was tempted to give Peter Dutton a pass for his gracious acceptance of defeat and responsibility for the LNP’s dismal and defeated election campaign. I almost convinced myself that he was a pragmatist who understood that right-wing, bad-faith, imported outrage politics wouldn’t resonate here.

So proud of this nation - not only for the result, but also for the way both sides acknowledge free and fair elections, executed with a brilliant system, administered by an expert bureaucracy. #auspol

I may disappoint my new text buddy H Fong, but I will go out of my way to number all 18 of my above-the-line boxes to make sure ToP candidates are stone cold, motherless last in my Senate voting preferences this election.

For some unfiltered perspective on what your local member has been telling Canberra on your behalf, visit theyvoteforyou.org.au at least once this election cycle.

See if your previous decision was a good one, and help it inform your next one.

How does your MP vote on the issues that matter to you?
Forget what politicians say. What truly matters is what they do. And what they do is vote, to write our laws which affect us all.

Already weary of the election commentary that Albanese and Dutton are “locked in a battle to be Australia’s next Prime Minister”, Thats… not how it works. That’s not how any of this works. #auspol

Can’t figure out why planes insist on reporting a) the outside air temperature and b) the location of the 1629 Batavia shipwreck. It’s a great maritime disaster story, sure, but it is really more important than, say, Gilly’s 2006 ton from 57 at the WACA

I've not seen much commentary about the role of AI in communities of faith. Religious Leaders must face enormous temptation to lean on generative AI when scripting weekly religious insights.

How would you feel if your priest/pastor/leader used unfiltered ChatGPT output in this week's message?

Looking forward to Peter Dutton being mercilessly hounded for DETAILS of his nuclear policies - like costing - similar to his own protestations during the Referendum.
