- Mamdani’s own outlook and beliefs have impeded his goal to support Jews in NYC and he needs to be more nuanced with his policies
- News platforms across America are fixating disproportionately on his failings while wilfully ignoring those on the far right

If Mamdani said anything nice about Trump, betrayed his pledges, directly collaborated or bent the knee to him, history would be saying very different things about him right now.
Trump’s violence remains his own, so Palestinians and ICE detainees have little reason to point fingers at a NY mayor.

If Mamdani said anything nice about Trump, betrayed his pledges, directly collaborated or bent the knee to him, history would be saying very different things about him right now.

He literally called Trump a facist to his face and Trump not only didn’t deny it but actively defended Mamdani while he did so. It was a massive boost to Mamdani’s already strong reputation and his moral compass came out completely intact.
