That sounds horrible! A therapist who specializes in anxiety could be helpful to help some of the anxiety and depression. I always recommend that people go to the @abctnow.bsky.social website to find a CBT therapist.

Great quotes! A lot of my work with patients with anxiety is about not monitoring body sensations (writing a book on panic attacks and that’s a whole chapter). On another note, what’s with the NYT not referring to PhDs as Dr? So annoying!
