Every…single…day. The struggle is real.
How do we balance the need to stay informed with the need to protect our mental health? At this point in our country’s CRAZY period (and I choose to look at this as temporary) I’m not sure it’s possible to do both at a high level.

Not "talking about politics" is a privilege though, one that people such as myself will never be able to enjoy. When people treat your existence as inherently political, you have no room for rest or ignoring the topic.

DOGE & ICE have now cost taxpayers more than they “saved”

I attended a meeting yesterday. Due Process is being denied to the folks being detained. Why should you care? Because it will happen to actual citizens next. They are testing the waters to see how much we will bear before unleashing it on people who tweet mean memes or engage in 1A activities.

By not giving these people a judicial review, they could actually round up any one of us and ship us to El Salvador…and don’t think that they haven’t thought about it.
