I was asked a question at the recent ASALH Conference in Pittsburgh - How does a woman born/raised in the suburbs write such powerful poetry in the theme of Black oppression, Black Power? The Black experience is everywhere, no where is a safe haven.

Rehearsals have started, costumes are being made, and music and dance are blending. It's going to be a fantastic poetic stage play. Save the date June 14, 2025 (Pittsburgh, PA)
