This is one of my all-timers, after studying english lit/poetry at uni for 2 years, and despite knowing all the bad stuff about Eliot. Usually knowing problematic stuff taints my enjoyment of their work, but this transcends that for me at least

You’re right and you should say it. All of the tension just fizzled out by the second seasons and it felt like they kept having the characters make stupid decisions to prolong them being stuck in Gilead
