This is the female red-tailed black #cockatoo from #Australia. The male has red tail feathers but the female is black & gold with orange/gold tail feathers.

My original #art below is a Night Flicker Woodpecker found across the entire lower 48 US states & parts of Southern Canada. It’s often found scrounging on the ground or old, dead tree trunks for insects, seeds, etc.

My #digitalart using @procreate.com and a reference pic from a friend. This is a type of #woodpecker called a ‘Northern Flicker’ that is found all over the US & Southern Canada. They don’t look like most woodpeckers and I adore them!!
