No loss of life should ever be celebrated, but it's hard to ignore the overdue spotlight now shining on the health insurance industry's unfair and predatory practices. Accountability matters, and maybe this situation will push the system to change for the better. #HealthcareReform #Accountability

Maybe I shouldn’t be surprised—and yet, I am. Are you shocked the Affordable Care Act and "Obamacare" are the same? Or that tariffs tax consumers, not China? Or that much of our economy relies on exploited undocumented labor?

I get the anger on the left. But maybe it’s time to take a step back. The right has what they wanted; now we watch what happens next. Sometimes, letting the consequences play out does more to shift minds and hearts than constant fighting ever could. What if this is how we spark real change?

Sometimes, things have to fall apart before they come together. The Great Depression of the 1930s brought unprecedented hardship, but it also paved the way for Social Security, labor reforms, and a stronger economy. Growth often follows struggle.
