Agreed. I hate the attitude a lot of Americans have with news media that all stories are a distraction from a bigger issue. It also is insulting to our intelligence and acting as though we cannot focus on multiple things going on at once and as soon as a new story breaks we forget everything else.

Honestly, not a bad option. This and Snapchat (I use it as a messaging app mostly and have a lot of friends who use it) are the only two I still use anymore, and I only use this on web rather than my phone. Both my attention span and mood have improved exponentially over before I left social media.
