That's a new one on me too. Some of the 70s wierd slide films were ORWO and GAF. There was a GAF500, fast for a slide film, strange colours (red/yellow) and very grainy.

Peering into the far distance to see the last of the train as it goes away, ignoring all that you see in your normal angle of view.
It was an interesting lens but I didn't use it again - 200mm was the longest I used.

Is it being turned for demonstration purposes by an electric motor on the other end of that big chain drive, so it's compressed air doing the screaming?
I don't think a steam engine would make that noise normally.
