I think it’s a balance. You need shitposters, celebrites, news, sports. None of the alternatives have the mix right at scale yet, but one could get close enough to kill twitter. Musk promotes the two things most people want the least: nazis and dummies who want to force you to pay attention to them

I’m here for camaraderie about the above, pictures of your food and pets, and general madcap hilarity. But, most importantly (probably), some shared community in this chaotic world.
