Having the last few weeks to say goodbye instead of it being a devastating surprise means more to me than I can put in words.

I’m also so grateful to my friends and family for supporting me these last few weeks.

Hes been by my side for everything. Im going to miss him so much every single day.

Im so incredibly grateful to all the staff at Odin’s vet clinic for their empathy & commitment to Odin. They went above and beyond to make Odin comfortable in his last few weeks and helped us decide when it was time.

I adopted Odin just 2 months after graduating high school. He got me through my first job and my first apartment. He got me through living by myself at 19. He got me through the pandemic and a painful breakup. He got me through my campaign and 4 year term on the school board.

Gallego, Kelly, Stanton and any other Dem supporting this bill are short-sighted cowards.

It has been a privilege to serve the only community I’ve ever called home. Leaving this role and my hometown is bittersweet, but I will always cherish the memories and the opportunity to fight for our students.
