Evening #runningpunks. Nice to get out after work and after Storm Amy. A mixed road and trail run with plenty of blue sky and sun. A nice view of the City in photo 3 with the Uni tower to the left and the new tallest building to the right (and still not finished). 🎧 The Stone Roses (self-titled).

It’s weekend #runningpunks. I’m not going to risk a run today. Storm Amy is pretty wild here. I did a run with a bit of cow dodging a couple of days ago (injuries still holding up). Here are a few photos from the run. There’s also a view with the City in the far distance.

Hey there #runningpunks friends. After a bit of an injury induced break, I was back running on Thursday (cow dodging) and back out today (with horsey friend) so hopefully I can now start building up distance and frequency. Two photos from Thursday and today. 🎧Thursday; Gans and today; Judas Priest.

Hey there #runningpunks friends. After a bit of an injury induced break, I was back running on Thursday (cow dodging) and back out today (with horsey friend) so hopefully I can now start building up distance and frequency. Two photos from Thursday and today. 🎧Thursday; Gans and today; Judas Priest.

Evening #runningpunks. Nice views over Leeds from the top of Drighlington, with the City Centre just out of view. Loads of horses, just a couple of dogs.🎧Massive Attack; Heligoland. With long term niggling injuries doing better, I need to start upping my distances. Kielder is only a few weeks away.

Evening #runningpunks. I didn’t post after last night’s run so here’s a selfie, one of the cows from the safety of a wall and the last of cows showing a bit more interest in me than I would like. I didn’t hang around. Way too hot and I kept the run short. 🎧The Lotts (well worth a listen).

Evening #runningpunks. I’m in the pretty Kirkby Stephen for the weekend. Managed a run after training today, just 7k as tired legs from a day’s training. It’s lovely up in the hills. A bit of cow dodging as well.

Hello #runningpunks. Just @kaakaapo.bsky.social and I for this month’s West Yorkshire RP run. We managed to avoid the rain. The llamas were out. The Uni heron was not at the pond but was seen (not photographed) in flight en route. The bunnies were out in force. Next month’s run confirmed for 17/08.

There is so much brownfield land to use. Common sense please.🎧 Queen; Pop

Evening #runningpunks. Hot and humid on today’s run. The breeze in parts was very welcome. Purple Rain was released 41 years ago this week, so today’s run 🎧 had to be Prince; Purple Rain. I even stumbled across some purple flora on the way back. Have great weekends all.
