Reminds me of this August 2015 Tweet from Rupert Murdoch opining that the Great Barrier Reef (GBR) looked fine to him (at a time of debate about the prospect of a coral bleaching event that summer)

Mass bleaching events since Aug 2015 affecting the GBR: 2016, 2017, 2020, 2022, 2024 and 2025.

I have never seen nuclear boosters mention the 210 atmospheric & underground nuclear tests France did in the Pacific and Algeria - it is as if they think the French civilian and military nuclear programs were entirely unconnected
