I’m a big fan of Bitcoin but I agree that the US Government should wait in line until all the poor countries and individual citizens and plebs have had long enough of a chance to front-run them.
A strategic reserve is meant to protect from price shocks or supply restrictions due to the importance of the commodity to the economy or military readiness.
To protect from a bitcoin price shock: DON'T buy any. To protect from a bitcoin supply restriction: DON'T use any.
Both of these are free.

I’m a big fan of Bitcoin but I agree that the US Government should wait in line until all the poor countries and individual citizens and plebs have had long enough of a chance to front-run them.

You’re right to be skeptical of cRypTo which is 99% scams, and Tether is a bit sus. Bitcoin however is in fact currency and although it’s mostly touted by libertarians, it is money for progressives and those about to be under the boot of fascist thugs.
