there is a reason the USA is the only country in the UN that has never ratified the Convention on the Rights of the Child, which begins with "a child should have a name"
the reason that republicans don't want this is that they love child abuse btw. there's a reason child marriage is legal in a bunch of states and it's that republicans want it that way.
