Considering most Christians don’t understand the context of money changers in the the temple (Jews came from all over so they needed a currency exchange, that was highly regulated to prevent profiteering) it’s really not a bad question.

Collectively, those "sanctuary" states sent $508 billion more to the federal government in taxes than they received back in 2024.
The "non-sanctuary" states, on the other hand, received a total of $292 billion in more funding from the feds than they sent in tax revenues.
