That’s a thought! My original jotting while at the shop was a center Rhodes surrounded by tent to get a hint of bubbling. I’ll have to play.

In Charleston last week where we visited @needlepointdotcom.bsky.social where I not only picked up this gorgeous canvas, but the shop put the spouse to work unpacking stretcher bars for a class…

Visited Annie & Company Needlepoint and Knitting in January and picked up this painted canvas. And flailed like a madwoman when I walked into the store…

And I am salivating at the prospect of mapping stitches to this gorgeous #WhimsyandGrace canvas that I picked up recently at Annie & Company in NYC.

But the chicken comes first.

Currently underway is the “Inductive Chicken” (don’t ask), which I may have started before the new millennium. My hands, too long used to #knitting/#crocheting/#weaving live in fear of #packedstem and #frenchknots.

And I found this finished piece showcasing raised and padded stitches, and why didn’t I get this framed, what the heck? #needlework #needlepoint

Now that I am an orphan, I have time to rummage through closets and finish WIPs, like this lovely free hand bit of #bargello I may have started 18 years ago.
