Watching sunset hit the clouds at Mni Owe Sni (Coldwater spring) was also amazing - the native oak savanah and prairie grasses are so peaceful in autumn as twilight begins.

Fall colors - maple tree in wirth park with red, orange to yellow gradient from top to bottom and colorful leaves carpeting the grass below the tree. Most of the leaves are still on the tree. Overcast fall sky makes the colors pop.

Not sure how this was possible. (And sincerely hope no one was seriously injured.)
Power pole has been snapped off cleanly and is resting about 10 feet from where should be planted in the ground. A smashed white city of Minneapolis Traffic Control vehicle is pinned between the power pole and a brick building obstructing the sidewalk. The small SUV is about 30 feet from the nearest intersection and likely skidded into place.

They have been practicing for a couple days. Drill week likely for some reserve pilots.

Dragonfly helmet from Japan - 17th century iron and leather and paper maché materials used and displayed in a glass case. The helmet is very tall and visually striking with large gold eyes and several wings on either side of the dragonfly body that sticks up from the top of the helmet. https://new.artsmia.org/art-artists

Good advice to safely rinse your nose, throat, sinuses as they protect your lungs.
Minneapolis skyline in the daytime. Very heavy haze from PM 2.5 air pollution from wildfires in Canada. The sky is gray and the color of the green trees is muted with visibility on the low side.

If you don’t think you have time for smol smosh potatoes, you can speed up the spuds in the microwave for 3 minutes before you grill it all to perfection.
Cutting board with three large grilled shrimp and an eighth sheet pan full of with blistered cherry tomatoes, lovely small potatoes in olive oil with garlic and salt.
