Really quite angry with the lack of intensity and application from Cymru today. Happy to get the win, don't get me wrong, but that was way below standard from what we've come to expect from a Craig Bellamy side. Lawlor great debut though and the subs understood the task at hand thankfully.

Multi-club ownerships should be outlawed. Rules are easily bypassed with cosmetic changes. Clubs overspending should be punished. Yet they can bypass this with cosmetic changes - such as selling their women's team to themselves. Football has no interest in regulation or regulation when it matters.

The kid definitely has ‘it.’ I think he’s been a victim of being over-played & expected to be 1 of our better players when ideally he’d be exciting young back up to an established quality player.

Beyond the headlines of Martin Samuel's Times interview with Jim Ratcliffe (omg he said the Glazer's are nice people!!! 🤬) is a club owner who realises the mistakes that have been made and seems to know how to fix them. That's a breathe of fresh air to me after years of Glazer purgatory.

Chastening defeat for United women at Anfield. Well beaten imo even if they could feel hard done by at 0-2 down at HT. Some players really struggled to perform and find it within themselves to dig it out. It's been a while since they lost (only 3 times this season), so won't freak out, but gutted.

United had two choices this January at LCB:
a) do nothing (and end up playing Evans)
b) parse for a cheap sub-standard player to save face (Weghorst, Ighalo)
Instead they took a low-risk high-reward gamble on a low-fee prospect, and compounded the strategy they have been trying to establish

Agreed, it sucks that ordinary people are paying the price for failure and massive losses. If there was any justice the Glazer's would take responsibility and pay for it themselves but we all know that's never happening.
Thoughts with everyone at United whose job is under threat. There are a lot of good people at the club who absolutely don’t deserve this. Ultimately paying the price for Glazer greed and years of neglect. It isn’t fair.

Obviously it was more a crèche than a bench but not sure what the downside of getting Obi on earlier or trying something different with one of the young midfielders was compared to just letting the game drift like it did at the end
