The most mind-boggling thing I heard at a No Kings protest today was a 40-something white woman who yelled, "God save the King!" as she drove by.
It really is tribal; actual thinking does not enter into it AT ALL.
But I did see a fellow protestor holding this sign, which made my day.

At the May Day protest I attended, one person had a sign with image.
Once you see it, you can't unsee it.
Note: I'm NOT saying everyone at Tesla deserves to be tarred with the same brush as Musk. But, by his actions, Musk is certainly doing a bang-up job of tarnishing Tesla's image.

At the May Day protest I attended, one person had a sign with image.
Once you see it, you can't unsee it.
Note: I'm NOT saying everyone at Tesla deserves to be tarred with the same brush as Musk. But, by his actions, Musk is certainly doing a bang-up job of tarnishing Tesla's image.

The rage is real and justified. I'd love to see it get translated into actual change. What UnitedHealthcare did to this woman's late husband, and what they're now doing to her, is awful. It's hard to argue with her characterization of them as evil.
