Sinking approval ratings mean only one thing: they have to make sure that this picture does not reflect on ballots; to distort democratic representation they have to restrict voting rights (birth certificate requirement) and radically gerrymander strategically important districts.

This explains a lot. Victims of income inequality voted overwhelmingly for afd. Right wing extremists overtake voters formerly represented by leftist parties when economy is the main concern. Even when that concern is not well founded as in the US.

This graphic shows who changed their votes to afd. Here is the thing, maybe voters in Turkey are too polarized but you wouldn’t see 90000 votes switching from far left to far right there. Is this fluidity normal for German electoral politics?

Watching the repentant former CEOs did not help my anger issues, but this is a good documentary because (spoiler 🚨) it finds the answer to the sustainable growth impossibility not in individuals but in regulatory politics, limiting and holding corporations accountable.

In the world climate simulation today, the second round of negotiations fell apart over the climate finance demands of developing countries. The pledges are too optimistic for some players, but overall this role-playing game helped students understand the inherent conflicts in climate negotiations.
