People first, love is truth, small is beautiful, women need voices and I’m trying to share mine in my messy way on my terms. Typos abound. Gaffs happen. Trying matters. Wrinkles catch up to you. Women are human.
This is the elitism that will if not already has brought us down

This is just true. It’s good business and it’s the only way companies will stay relevant in the future. Maybe some people are afraid of their own irrelevance
Goldman Sachs and Harvard University, leading the resistance.
💥 BREAKING: Goldman Sachs shareholders voted today to reject two anti-DEI proposals, both by 98-2 percent. GS Board urged shareholders to vote to reject proposals. "We believe that diversity, including diversity of thought, experience and perspectives, is important to our commercial success."

If you all weren’t so sexist, we wouldn’t be here right now. And this isn’t about Hillary. We had many Biden alternatives and they were discounted unfairly by this country. Redefine leadership people. This is bullshit

I agree - where is the news? Why aren’t these being covered systematically?
Researchers have found there have been more protests more frequently than in 2017, along with a new emphasis on economic action.

They are trying to whitewash the country, knowing full well that we’re going in a totally opposite direction demographically. It’s a lost battle but I guess worth destroying our democracy for???

It may not be cool or hip in some circles, but we legitimately do need a massive amount of people to run for office.

Flood the school boards, councils, county seats, state legislatures, Congress, etc.

Big changes at the top happen when the ground shifts at the bottom. And that can start now.

We got a Costco membership for the first time in our lives today. They asked why & I said because treat your workers well, you value diversity, & you didn’t cave in to authoritarian demands. He said: “We’ve been getting lots of folks saying that, thanks for joining.”

Lately I feel like having been a student of Latin American history and political economy is a curse. We see what’s happening with a different lens. One that is much more nefarious and terrifying.
Political Science Professor Javier Corrales has spent his career studying the processes of democratization and autocratization in nations throughout Latin America — and he sees a very familiar and troubling pattern.

Who will save this nation? It won’t be the ones who stand to lose anything. Only some are brave enough to defy a system in which they have identified their value as money, looks, power. It will be the people who don’t have anything to lose. Look for them, convene them, inspire them.

Musk calling government institutions unelected 4th branch of government is precious. He’s bad at spin. Because it’s lying. Oh and that’s not how government works. You don’t vote for who works at the DMV.
