MONSTER TRUCK MISHAP! 😲 A tire flew off a monster truck in Bremerton, WA this weekend at the Kitsap County Fairgrounds. The tire went over the fence and into the parking lot, crushing spectators' cars. Thankfully, no one was hurt.

Single digit temperatures are difficult to achieve in the greater Seattle area. The last time we did it was in 1989, when Seattle hit 7°. This is a look at the coldest temperatures the past 11 years in Seattle.

The high temperature would get to 20° that day, but then plummet to the second coldest temperature ever recorded of 1° on the morning of February 1. Green Lake and parts of Gig Harbor were frozen over. There were even icy spots on Puget Sound (see the pic below from Washington State Ferries).

Huge congrats to the great Dave Sims on his new gig with the Yankees. We’ve been so spoiled over the years with our Seattle Mariners broadcasters. Sims made some special calls and this one will always give me chills.
