Yesterday I made curry macaroni salad for today. It was a day of quiet. We thought Jesus was gone, now he is back. He thought I was gone, now I am back. Time for joy and contentment. Happy Easter. Blessed.🙏

Two boat-tailed grackles just flew from the river birch dragging their long whirly tails. They have returned.

“It upends how we've been protecting endangered species for the last 40 years,” said Noah Greenwald, codirector of the Center's endangered species program.
Trump officials say destroying endangered species’ habitats isn’t ‘harm’
A proposed rule would narrow the definition of harm under the Endangered Species Act and could open the door to more mining, construction and other activities.

My grandmother had a wisteria in her yard. She kept it trimmed so it wouldn't vine out. Over a few years it turned into the most beautiful purple tree. She was so proud of it.

I put my hummingbird feeder up yesterday and just had my first visitor. Pretty sure its one of my frequent flyers. She latched on and stayed a while like she was wondering where was the food. I usually wait till after the bluebirds leave. They don't always get along. Welcome back!

Made a yummy primavera for lunch with zucchini, asparagus, edamame, cherry tomatoes, sweet peppers. Thought I might have enough for another day but not. Too good.

Starting a new project. I have one closet full of Christmas decorations. I haven't put the tree up in several years. It's one of those old put together stabby things headed to the dumpster, lights included. I'm saving anything sentimental out of four boxes. I've wanted to do this forever.

It's a beautiful day. Windows and doors open. Sunshine and slight breeze. Making stuffed pepper soup. One of my favorites. I'm using a variety of peppers for better depth of flavor. Jarred roasted red pepper, green bell and sweet minis. Topped with salsa verde and avocado.

Okay I heeded the call of the unstable economy and decided to stock up on coffee before prices got any higher. Plus a few extra bottles of wine. Around here, if people panic they empty the shelves. Man ahead of me bought bourbon. His price went from $10 to $17. They apologized. Oh well.

I've noticed some problems reported with today's SS payment so checked. Everything okay for me. Payment went through, login to website okay and listed next payment in May. The login site changed with instructions to upgrade account which I did last month. So glad now with all the confusion. Whew.

My son planted a butterfly garden (lots of milkweed) a couple of years ago for the grand. We were worried the snow might have damaged but not. He already has monarch caterpillars!
🐛🌿 So exciting.

X is all into making excuses for the tariffs. Apparently all these countries owe us money and trump will make them pay. Even if they did and he could, we the people will never see a dime. It will continue to pay for the folly of the musk.

I read yesterday that only 11% of people believed in the Holy Trinity. Maybe instead of not believing it's not understanding. Try a change in perspective. Instead of Father,Son,HolyGhost in the sign of the cross, try this:
God--->Jesus--->Holy Spirit
