seems like a matter of opinion of creative choices rather than something more objective - there's no way to appease everyone in this case, remasters of such old games will mean many creative choices will be reconsidered because they were mostly influenced by what's technically feasible

Though I haven't gotten to a point where I actually make use of all of its nuances but when it works, it's pretty neat.

ahh, i don't even bother for my sketches unless i decide to use my brush pens, just trying to get better at form and shape first with maybe some shading but i sit down and dabble with water colours when i find time

i carry a pocket friendly book every time i go out + also another book while i am work during breaks/inbetween work etc
