You and Welkin are similar spirits. I took him out to potty this morning and he got to wander a tiny bit and once we got in he went straight into the kennel to lay down.

Yeah, there are some who are weirdly elitist for absolutely no reason. I've been lucky that all the shops I frequent are very supportive. Like, sewing isn't just for retired old people.

It's a drastic surgery but I know they adapt well. It's harder on us humans to see what they have to go through. Here's hoping both pups continue with a solid recovery!

It's definitely hard sometimes seeing him in the cone hobbling around, but amputation means that he can have a longer healthier life and not be in pain from bone cancer. Which was important to us.
