I’ve been in Mexico for the last 6 days. I have a lot of take-aways from this trip, but the one most dear to my heart: the Mayan language. I hope to deepen my relationship to this place it’s people and the language in the future ❤️

Thanks to Ontario Native Women’s Centre for hosting last nights poetry event “Strong Hands Stop Violence”. It was an empowering night and I was honoured to read amoung such talented writers and fierce survivors.

Working on Christmas gifts. Cozy bandana cowls ❤️ I made myself a couple too, they go perfectly with my wool jacket. This yarn is buttery soft and smooth, kinda slippery to work with but feels so good on the skin!
