The knowledge that amidst all the jokes there are some people legitimately panicking because they can't write an essay without ChatGPT is incredibly depressing.

To add to this, the goal was at least 1 game per month, and even with the amount of time spent on H:ZD and H:FW, I've actually managed that. Hoping I can play through all of Ys VIII by the end of December to close out the year 1 game ahead.

As a New Year's Resolution I decided I'd set out to complete my videogame backlog. I've stuck to it pretty well and made some great progress, though I loved the Horizon games so much they took out huge chunks of time on their own lol.

While I'm just privileged enough that the results don't have a real impact on myself, it's absolutely heartbreaking to see my SO fear for her life because of her identity. I'm sure everything will be okay, but those feelings are valid and I hope everyone stays strong and safe.

At this point, the only feature I miss from "that other site" is the bookmark function. I hope we get that over here soon.
