I worked there many moons ago. Your investigation is valid and a very useful corrective, but the PRCA are pearl clutching. You have to declare lobbying clients, not conventional PR work. This, while unorthodox, was the latter.

It was a clumsy assignment to take on

Dan Hodges was writing about Al Carns as a plausible replacement for Starmer last week.

Plenty of decent MPs from the 2024 intake. The trouble is that they are all too junior - Al Carns for PM is a pipe dream. The senior bench on both sides, particularly post 2015 is woeful

Hmm. Billy Boys is a song of choice, and easily the worst from “both sides”

It all comes down to tariffs, seriously. In response to Trump, the UK govt has limited its options on digital taxes. Taxing digital advertising is the only way to replace the license fee and fund proper local news grants. And yes, that should include you rather than Reach

Isn’t it relevant to mention France’s overseas territories?

I’ve read your blogs since 2008 and have never replied online. Keep doing what you do!

Social media, particularly written content, is dying. It would probably be more productive to have a WhatsApp group.
