It’s upsetting to see a titan of the animation industry is now reduced to like a Jenga building knocked over.

All I’m hoping now is that the library of shows would be taken care of.
Not officially confirmed but Nelvana, one of Canada's most storied animation studios, appears to have quietly closed down on Friday, yet another casualty of Corus Entertainment's struggle to survive.

So far, Nelvana was also responsible for their obscure 2005 animated adaptation of the Heidi film, alongside Telemagination and TV-Loonland.

Overall, Nelvana was best known for making Max and Ruby, Franklin, Pippi Longstocking, Babar and more.

Seeing Nelvana falling apart is an end of an era...
