The Epstein Bill was passed and signed off, and the Courts have given it's instructions on the release, yet we're not surprised Trump is being shielded. How we long for an Edward Snowden or Julian Assange. When the entire system is corrupt including the DOJ and Supreme Court, what is the recourse?

Affordability has been a problem for many, for awhile. We have had glimmers of hope every time the economy rebounds, but since the 2007 financial crisis, we know that between the debt and an economy prop up on a tech bubble, it's unsustainable. The burden cannot be carried by the working class.

With living costs painfully high, the loss of jobs now, is brutal. What is more concerning, is how the tariffs are adversely affecting companies, leading to closures. Working class folks are under attack.

After November 5th 2024 all of us who knew what was ahead, struggled between anger and depression. A year and a month later it seems that so many believe that all it takes to return to normal, is the defeat of Trump. A reality check is urgently needed, because Trump is facilitated by a system.

We have skipped over international maritime laws regarding law enforcement and military engagement on the high seas, and in sovereign territories, and find ourselves arguing about second strike on survivors. Are we conceding that might is right? What is the purpose of the UN, ICC, and the ICJ?

How it all started is how it is going to end. Injustice begets injustice, and evil men gets embolden and more dangerous if good men are numb or cower. Life will not self correct by itself, and history has shown us that good only prevail, when evil is confronted.

Third world countries are poor and miserable because of internal strife of one form or another. Most were colonized resulting in their resources extracted and stolen. The US is headed in that direction not because of any of those reasons, but because of excessive greed by the 1%ers and a choice.

Try as you may, it is impossible to avoid Trump's utterances, which is a reflection of the American people. GOP Congress members and Evangelicals like today they didn't choose a saint, but a President. Well, when he's gone, the stain and smell will have to be removed.

The last ninety six years are replete with the US repeating it's death wish. The 1929 depression caused by fiscal mismanagement, tariffs and dominance by the 'Robber Barons'. The 2008 market crash caused by the same thing, with the wars adding to it. Nothing has changed, and unity is evasive.

It is puzzling to me what the guiding philosophy of the six GOP aligned Supreme Court judges is. One may be tempted to think it's concervative principles, but their decisions says no. That leaves white supremacy, because Obama would never get these rulings which ignore presedent, their red line.

To think that all our Presidents must have known we were heading down this debt/bankruptcy cul-de-sac pursuing the military industrial complex,the transfer of wealth to the top, and tax cut without revenue replacement. At $38 trillion in debt there is no wiggle room in a new world order.

Access to information doesn't guaranteed an informed people. Journalism doesn't carry the same credibility it once did, and we are all worst off for it. Any serious study of our current circumstances will reveal a state that is economically, ideologically, and morally bankrupt.

Freedom and justice are the most important factors to progressives and people on the left, without exception. People who claim that the Left left them had no conviction. Their alliance was conditional. Support for the Gay and Trans community is where many religions zealots will draw the line.

Throughout decades of mostly up, and some downs America shone as a beacon globally. Power shifted between the Parties with little concern about the country's goals or what we represent, until now. President Biden used to say "never bet against America". I wonder what his thoughts are now.

For the country to provide benefits for the working class, Congress members most never be beholden to the White House or corporate dictates. People are being distracted, as the country nose dives, and the rich and special interests plunder the system. Real leadership is required in a tainted system.

Trump's mismanagement of the economy, and his unprecedented lawlessness and corruption will in the end be the greatest immigration policy of the US, with guaranteed negative net migration to the country. The world is organizing away from the US at this moment.

With the increases in health care costs pending, the cuts to Medicaid, the cuts to food assistance, and the inflation spike partly due to tariffs, millions will realize that over a year ago they made a choice that guarantee misery for working people, and tanking the economy.

Tax cuts was never the answer to prosperity. It's a sugar high, the catch politicians use to gain votes. The debt has passed 37 trillion dollars now and the country is near broke.
The infrastructure and public amenities of China and the ASEAN countries are vastly superior. We waste money on wars.

I can understand the hopelessness that has overcome so many. MAGA in particular, but so many others were prepared to abandon principles for a disruptor who would reset the economy with something akin to the GI Bill. That was never Trump's intention, and the system is rigged against that possibility.
