There is no bright side to all that is unfolding currently in America. Trust in institutions and the 'system' has immeasurably been eroded. By the end of this Presidency, the country will be facing a new world order, and a society dominated by AI. Anyone not prepared will be destroyed.

At the beginning of this Trump term when Democrats froze in fear. It took Bernie and AOC to show us giving into fear is paralyzing. It took Crockett to remind us our voice is our strength. It took Senator Van Hollen to remind Congress of their responsibility, but Al Green embodies truth to power.

For the sake of setting an example and playing the same game of MAGA in a Trump culture USA, James Comey, Leticia James, the arrested judge and others should file gigantic lawsuits against the DOJ for politicizing the Department and reputational damages.

No matter how GOP/MAGA hypocritically spout their nonsense about incivility and toning down the rhetoric. We would be idiotic to try to exist in a Trump culture of insults, crassness, and inconsiderate utterances, while playing choirboys. Bullies don't respect/fear weakness.

In less than a year we have moved from complete shock and outrage (knowing what we bought), to the FAFO outcomes, to actions of resistance. Now only the willfully blind isn't seening the absolute disaster and chaos of an administration and Presidency. Repairing the damage will be challenging.

Politicians, celebrities, and everyone who hold the believe that capitalism is somewhat a kind of sacred panacea, cares for themselves only. We have had Presidents who held financial organizations accountable, with high taxes, and had enviable economic performances for the country.

Trump has always been a bully, and a bully does what he believes will not result in consequences. He was constrained in the previous term by mature, independent minded people. He is now surround with weakness and people with exaggerated sense of self importance. Supreme Court judges allowed this.

If influencial members and leader within the Democratic party haven't yet understood what David Hogg was pointing them to, they should watch the reception to Zohran Mamdani, AOC, and Bernie. It's about authenticity, work class upliftment, and disruption of the status quo.

When our people can live decent, prosperous, and just lives. At the point where leadership in America is about standing up for it's citizens, and the countries interest,and not for billionaires and othe countries, we will then be credible to lecture to other nations. We haven't made democracy work.

The takeover of fascism is becoming more undeniable every day. Draconian and ridiculous power grab by the executive, freedom of speech restrictions, agents of the state terrorizing citizens, and little or no recourse. Regular folks mainly focus on survival, but the tipping point is coming.

Trump has convinced simple minds that down is up, and he has awaked people and ideas that America has flirted with form day one. The 50s and 60s were great for middle and upper class white Americans, and sold working class a dream that has now become a nightmare. All this time the OCGFC schemed.

Many prominent American leaders and citizens subscribe to a belief in the American exceptionalism claim, and interpret that as a good and virtuous thing. Minority groups, countries destabilized and ruined, just and moral efforts blocked in the UN by the US stand in opposition to that claim.

The worst predictions about this administration and President are all being realized. There is nothing this guy says or does, however demeaning to the office that is shocking, yet his enablers provide excuses, while demanding that we show him respect. We need to respect ourselves and show it.

The protest was an undeniable success. The next move must be to mobilize the people to take back the House and Senate. We must select and out up the best candidates for every political office, from school boards to Congress. In addition, expend Democratic seats countrywide. MAGA isn't honest.

All of the MAGA talking points about the No Kings Day protest was proven wrong. Now they know what we know, the tide has shifted. Expect the worst of Trump's/MAGA impulses, they are desperate now, and their timetable to destroy democracy, laws, and our societal norms are going to be speeded up.
