We can discuss the myriad ways GOP policies negatively impact GOP voters but in this case trump is just transferring money from their bank accounts to his. It's just straight up theft from his own voters. Those tears in my eyes are from laughter, not sadness.
(Almost) everyone is getting torched by the Trump meme coin - Kevin Drum
It's been a while since we've checked in on the Trump meme coin scam, but today the New York Times checked in for us: As of the middle of this week, more than 810,000 wallets had lost money on [$Trump...

When you suddenly start tearing through the air safety bureaucracy with an ax after two decades-plus of near perfect US commercial air safety any plane that suddenly careens out of the sky is probably on you.

Trump is demanding that federal employees become snitches or face retaliation. Funny, I thought it was the other way around. This should help his street cred.
Federal employees are told to name colleagues who work in DEI roles or risk 'adverse consequences'
Emails sent to government workers at numerous agencies gave employees 10 days to report if a colleague's job relates to diversity, equity and inclusion efforts.

Rick Caruso's mall in the Palisades almost burned so of course he's blaming Karen Bass, who beat him in the last election. I'd like to see billboards all over the city comparing him to the looters who slink in after a disaster to take advantage for personal gain. A wealthy, entitled looter.

Kevin Drum is kind enough to remind us of how much Elon Musk is a lying sack.

Thanks to Josh Marshall for highlighting this article. This is a valuable lesson those of us on the Left need to learn. Political battles are shifting to social media as MSM becomes increasingly irrelevant. Whoever wins these spaces wins elections. Right now we're losing.

This is depressing. Kevin Drum is right that it's on Dems for so badly losing the PR war. But how many minds would it really have changed in rural America?

84 school shootings this year. We broke last year's record. Only about 30% of Americans own guns. I can't help wondering about the other 70% of us who don't own guns. We really could stop it but we don't. Apparently higher egg prices are a bigger problem than dead school kids.

Kevin Drum is dead on. We lost the election because most Americans think the economy is only about inflation & interest rates. The GOP took advantage of this (with a lot of help from clueless media), and were far better messengers than Democrats.
