Who just so happens to be speaking Monday, April 7 at 5pm at Chuck's Fish in Tuscaloosa. You're invited! Bring your autograph book and come prepared to be inspired and learn more about how you can get involved in the fight for all our freedoms

But the truth is this: resistance is a shared responsibility. We can't wait for official Democratic leadership to do it. We can't wait for local liberal margarita enthusiasts (ahem) to do it. No one is coming to save us. This fight is everybody's fight.

Nobody's doing anything! we say, so this one's on you. Plan a protest. Organize a phonebank. Do something, and we'll publicize it! We'll join you.

And sometimes when we say that we get a "fuck you" back. Or a "this is why Democrats are failing in Alabama. You suck."

On the one hand, thank you! On the other hand, y'all got a Senator dumber than Tuberville? How has he not yet died looking up at a rainstorm?

(for the record, we're disappointed that Mark has to reschedule. But we also kinda love it? If we want to be represented by someone who knows about navigating the challenges faced by working folks and families in our state--and we do--we gotta hold space for them to navigate their responsibilities.)
