DJT loves the power, influence, accolades, admiration, attention, etc. of being president.
Muskrat can't be president. DJT is essentially a lazy bastard who doesn't want to do the work, so he hands it to Muskrat. DJT will green light anything as long as Muskrat doesn't steal his limelight.

Trump's picks tend to have 2 things in common: fealty and wealth. He may be racist, but his real "ism" is classism. If you're rich it's ok to be brown, immigrant, or born to one. (Vivek, Elon, Kash) If not, you're just a useful tool, even if you're white. Wait til his poor, white base realize that.

After tumblr died but before it was declared dead*, the site became mostly a Pig Wrestling** platform.

* Tumblr is actually very much alive and quite cool now.
** As in the old adage, Never wrestle with a pig. You get dirty and the pig likes it.

Anyway, twitter has entered its Pig Wrestling Era.

I've noticed a pattern. If I bring up something that points to a problem that trump will cause, i.e. taxes going up for lower income, relief for the wealthy or tariffs will hike prices, I invariably get the same answer. "Oh, he's got a plan for that." As they look away. Oh, my sweet summer child

Pondering what went wrong with the '24 election.... IMO, we as individuals and as a country, particularly in education, we are guilty of dereliction of civic duty. We have taken our freedom for granted. Americans need to realize that while freedom should be a birthright, it is indeed, a privilege.
