In an annoyingly predictable turn of events, I felt a lot better once I was outside, moving around, and participating in an event. Had Tavi out for an hour and Kenna for half that, then stole Kenna's light up collar for myself and went round to the neighbors for the last half hour 😂

I have made A Lot of soup. The veg soup on the right is going into the freezer as individual portions because I'm almost out of the soup that's in there. The zuppa toscana on the left (with coconut milk) is for this week. May have gotten a smidge carried away with the Soup of the Week quantity.
Two large containers of zuppa toscana soup, which is made of hot italian sausage, bacon, kale, onion, garlic chicken stock, fennel seed, and coconut milk. A glass food storage container and a large metal bowl, both filled with a basic vegetable soup. The soup is V8, chicken stock, cabbage, corn, peas, and green beans.

My weekend. I upgraded the hoops (they were most of the cost by far) because I have negative sense memories of the cheaper, splintery versions. Also upgraded the floss bin one step for the same reason. Trying cheaper floss and initial impression is definitely not as good as DMC but okay for now.
Needlework/embroidery supplies on a table - two needlework hoops, for sets of empty embroidery floss cards, a sectioned bin for storing them, two bags of embroidery floss, a set of embroidery needles, and a disappearing ink pen.

I could fit more plants in the sunroom but I'm gonna need hooks or some small plant lights for the lowest shelves
The back corner on the porch side of the sun room. The plants include a large fiddle leaf fig, a vining pothos supported with bamboo, several rubber plants of various types, and a peace lily. A lucky bamboo plant is hidden behind the leaves of the fiddle leaf fig. The front corner on the porch side of the sun room. There's a plant light hanging down above a cluster of large plants, mostly rubber tree plants with one of the plectranthus under a tall stool along with a tall plant stand containing more rubber trees, a jade, the swiss cheese pothos, and the peperomia cupid. The front far side of the sun room. There's a small table tucked in between the plant stand and another small table next to the teal settee. Featuring *another* couple of rubber trees (note to self: you do not need more rubber trees), two orchids, a pothos, four snake plant cuttings hopefully growing roots, and a wild looking aloe that was on the clearance rack (jokes on them, I think it's awesome). The far back corner of the sun room. There's a small table with three plants crammed on it - an upright peperomia (variety unknown), a hoya tricolor hidden in the back, and the green and white plectranthus ciliatus. Part of the iron hook that's going on the wall for the hoya can be seen behind the plectranthus.

And the last two from the fundraiser, which are both trailing peperomia. The first is peperomia cupid and the second is peperomia tetragona. The tetragona is hanging out with the jades right now until it's hook is up in the kitchen window.

Y'all want to meet the new plants, right? I knew it. OKAY, SO, first up we have a foxtail fern, a variegated plectranthus ciliatus, a solid light green plectranthus ciliatus, and a swiss cheese pothos.

Was watching a YouTuber talk about decor things they like and one was unconventional living room layouts. I straight up thought to myself "I'd like to have something unconventional but I just don't have the room". Then I remembered my living room set-up isn't exactly typical.

The non-plant winnings included 4 juice size atomic style glasses and a coffee basket that had, among other things, an aeropress, several samples of locally roasted coffee, and a painted coffee bean sack.

Dinner was a spin on succotash (corn, red peppers, zucchini, dinner sausage) over rice with plenty of leftovers. Just have to run up to the center to pack for the event tomorrow then back home to take a nice hot bath and sleep in my own bed for the first time in almost 2 weeks.
Food prepared for cooking in separate bowls, all small diced - red pepper, zucchini, sausage, and corn, with a bottle of chili powder next to all of it. The finished result with everything cooked together and put over rice.

Both of them were excited to see me, but after about 20 minutes Tavi had to pointedly ignore me for a bit so I knew he was NOT pleased I was gone so long. Kenna's just making sure I don't wander off without her supervision.

This is right outside my room. It's roughly 7 feet tall and 5 feet wide (or 2.1 m x 1.3 m).
A very large mirror with a wide, reasonably ornate gold frame. It's propped up in a corner where two white walls and a polished wood floor meet. It's reflecting a window, a red rug, and two red arm chairs with a sofa table in between.
