YOU can help create a lasting legacy for UK waters with Blue Marine, Oceana UK and Only One by asking Steve Reed to close our marine protected areas to bottom trawling. We stand at a crossroads, protect our ocean and save our planet, or continue to plunder our greatest natural asset.

A new poll reveals overwhelming public support for a trawling ban in protected areas. It follows the cinema release of feature film OCEAN WITH DAVID ATTENBOROUGH which features graphic scenes of undersea destruction caused by trawling, filmed in greater detail than ever before.

“Bottom trawling is still allowed in many so-called marine protected areas worldwide. And perhaps even more astonishingly, it is subsidised by governments. Very few places are safe from this. including almost nowhere in my own country.” - David Attenborough, in OCEAN.
