Added an additional 9 hours to the 10 I took around this time last year. The Christmas Tree Cluster, Cone Nebula and Fox Fur Nebula make up the NGC 2264 region located in the constellation Monoceros.

The Pleiades (M45), a.k.a. The Seven Sisters is a star cluster which contains over 1,000 stars though only 6 to 9 are visible to the naked eye. Pleiades is known for its bright blue stars and the surrounding reflection nebulae.

I enjoy astrophotography. We have great dark skies along the gulf in North Florida. Aim your fast lens south, Frisbee sized aperture, iso maybe 3200, shutter speed around 15 seconds and wait for that camera back surprise! #photography #astrophotography #milkyway #EastCoastKin
