Tonight we say goodbye to Rikku, one heck of a great dog. 18 years is not too shabby. We loved her and will miss her and know she'll find another dragon's hoard of dog toys where next she goes.

For "Transgender Day of Visibility" I'll add my fave DC character who is part of that community, Nia Nal aka "Dreamer". She was also (I believe) the first transgender superhero on TV, played by trans actress Nicole Maines on "Supergirl."
