Do. Not. Hire. Shane. Collins. For. Roofing. Work. He does not know what he is doing. He melted our siding, and left a leak that added to damage to our home. This has been a long year dealing with this, I'm glad that it's done. But please do NOT use him, or let anyone you know use him.

Remember my tale of the roofer who scammed us? Well, court had finally ended. We won. Shane Collins of Getter Done Roofing not only scammed us with shoddy work he had no business or knowledge doing, but he also did not show for court. Please beware if you ever come across Shane.

Nothing wakes a person up quite as quickly as hydroplaning on a dark Nova Scotia highway in a torrential downpour!

Shut that pipeline down.
“Canada can create all the MOUs, projects offices and advisory groups (it wants), but chiefs will be united — and are united — when it comes to the approval of projects on First Nations lands,” AFN Chief Woodhouse Nepinak said. “There will be no getting around rights-holders.”
First Nations Chiefs from across the country are meeting in Ottawa. They've unanimously voted to oppose any change to a west coast oil tanker ban. Prime Minister Mark Carney just signed an MOU with Alberta on getting oil to the coast.

Sometimes I stub my toe on purpose on the coffee table and then yell at the coffee table, just to see what it feels like to be a Conservative.

There were probably much better ways to spend that kind of money that would have a bigger impact. It makes for a good headline though.

Conservatives are great at the swindle
Jonathan Gullis defects to Reform saying his former party has "lost touch with the people it was meant to serve".

He should know. When he was in Government he took a five-figure donation from JCB, then stayed silent when it axed hundreds of his constituents' jobs just two weeks later
Conservatives Promote JCB's 'Revolutionary' Pothole Machine While Taking Millions of Pounds in Donations from the Company
Senior Conservatives have repeatedly promoted a pothole repair machine made by a company which has donated huge sums to the party and its MPs

Toronto has done a much better job at clearing street congestion than Halifax, at least in the part of downtown the core I was in. King street and Adelaide street are much better than they used to be

Biden had nothing to do with this. It is deliberate sabotage. Grifters have stolen billions and plan to crash our systems forever. Project 2025 spelled out every damn page. Wake up and push back. Unite. Peaceful but LOUD.
