The kid that made me a mom turns 15 today. Statistically speaking, she never should’ve been born. Not only had I had 5 miscarriages before her, but I also went through chemo that was supposed to render me infertile. Yet, here she is. My true miracle. She has changed me; made me the person I am today

Today is the 7th anniversary of Idéfix coming to live with us. I literally texted my spouse and asked if they’d divorce me if I brought home a dog (do not recommend!) but it was the best impulse decision ever.
