I'm fundamentally not willing to give cis allies ground when they say cack handed things about trans people in sport, because I have seen first hand multiple times how the topic leads directly to believing that all trans women are violent sexual fetishists.
I'm honestly tired of how every time a cis person clumsily pushes back against transphobia by swallowing their own foot and demonstrating that they have implicitly accepted the right-wing framing and erosion of trans issues in the mainstream, people freak out and act like pointing this out is death.
Treating trans people like we're a third sex and denying us legibility as our genders is bad, actually.
