Yeah the last thing I want to do when I get home from my IT job is wrestle with an OS to get it do what I want. I'm stubborn and lazy and will keep what I know until it's braindead simple to switch and literally every game I play is compatible *with* multiplayer so not any time soon unfortunately

Developers have to specifically code it for Linux in those cases. So unless one of them really takes off they won't have *all* the games that windows does

SteamOS is getting there with game compatibility cuz of the deck and upcoming stream machine but the problem with any of them is that most multiplayer games now are coming with kernel level anti cheat so it's not a matter of just making a compatibility layer and let the game think it's on windows...

One of the highest revenue generating video games of all time and they can't pay artists to work on their game? Give me a fucking break this is just pure greed and disrespect to their players. This will only get worse if we don't emphatically rebuke companies doing this right now.
