/2 My particular view is that we have a simultaneous surge of (1) classic anti-Semitism — hatred of Jews as Jews (2) reckless employment of classic anti-Semitic tropes in political discourse, and (3) bad-faith portrayal of all criticism of Israel as anti-Semitic. It’s a hideous mess.
