I'm sure the care was very good, and they were very thorough, but you wouldn't want to turn up there with a genuine emergency.

Still, at one point they told her she was going to be admitted overnight, so I was all set to prep an overnight bag and bring it in.

I know all about this as my wife spent the day there today. She through she would be in and out in a couple of hours. But no. She was first in the door at 8am, and only left at 4.30pm. So the parking was another €25 on top.

It's not quite as limiting as something like the VHI swift-care, but it's not that much better. And it's €250 to be seen. Scans are extra.

I was wrong. Great turnout of over 200 people. Lovely day for it. Cold but clear with bright sunshine.
