With the theme “One World One Struggle”, the 2026 commemoration will continue to highlight Palestine alongside working-class struggles closer to home.

A copy of the North West Anti-Racism Charter has been displayed at Free Derry Wall as a statement of solidarity and commitment to opposing racism.

The formal launch will take place at the Guildhall, Derry, on Tuesday 7 October, 11:00 am – 1:00 pm.

There were so many supporters in the courtroom for the Bloody Sunday families that the tape between both groups of supporters had to be moved over significantly to accommodate spillover.

Soldier F has been charged with two counts of murder in the cases of William McKinney and Jim Wray, and five counts of attempted murder in the cases of Michael Quinn, Joseph Friel, Joseph Mahon, Patrick O'Donnell and 'persons unknown'.

Due to the weather, the Gaza quilt is now inside the @museumfreederry.bsky.social until 3pm. Each of its 2,300 crocheted squares represents 10 Palestinian children killed - 23,000 lives. At 5pm, it moves to the Peace Bridge with Rise for Palestine. 🇵🇸 ❤️‍🩹 #FreePalestine

Deeply moving, the "Moon tell me truth" exhibition launch, curated by the Hands Up Project, features 60 illustrated poems by children from Gaza. Many are now displaced, their homes and schools destroyed, & at least two were killed in Israeli airstrikes.

2,300 crochet squares - each representing ten children killed in Gaza. Created by Craftivism for Palestine and hosted by the Bloody Sunday Trust, the Gaza Quilt will be displayed on the banking in the Bogside, Derry, 29 July, 1-3pm.
