IIRC she can't keep her office in the house because SCOTUS upheld the Texas redistricting, which combined a lot of Dem districts together. Her district essentially no longer exists.

If anything, this just feels like a racist/sexist statement of "a black woman can't win statewide office in Texas." Except it hasn't even been attempted recently, so how could they even know?
